Oyster and Mussel Tour with a scent of seaweed and freshly cooked mussels
The Oyster and Mussel Tour departs from Norra Hamnen (the North Harbour) in Lysekil. We travel on Signe, our wooden boat from 1956, to the mussel farm where we show you how mussels are grown and harvested.
Signe then takes us to our oyster bed where we pick oysters and learn more about this delicacy. At a very special and unique place in Bohuslän, we talk about everything connected to oysters, and offer the opportunity to try them.
We stop off at Käringeholmen, where we serve cooked mussels, and enjoy them by the shore. After an unforgettable experience in an amazing environment, we take you back to Lysekil, accompanied by the relaxing sound of Signe’s engine.
TIME AND LOCATION: Between March 1 and November 30, the tour leaves Fridays and Saturdays at 12.30. The trip starts from Norra Hamnen in Lysekil and takes about 3 hours. Meeting place is at Restaurang Publik
PRICE: SEK 1550 per person
PAYMENT: Via Swish or invoice
The price includes lunch in the form of oysters, as well as mussels cooked in wine and cream. To this is served water, light beer and bread. Packaged fresh oysters can be purchased on board after the tour.
If you are 6 people or more, we can offer tours all days of the year, as agreed. Contact us for more information.
CANCELLATION: If canceled later than 7 days before departure, half the cost will be charged. If canceled the same day, the full cost will be charged.
