Oyster and Mussel Tour with a scent of seaweed and freshly cooked mussels
The oyster and mussel tour starts in the North Harbor in Lysekil. We travel aboard Signe, our gaff-rigged wooden yacht built in 1956, out to the mussel farm, where we show how mussels are cultivated and harvested.
During the boat trip, we pass our oyster beds and learn more about how oysters live. At a very special and unique location in Bohuslän, we talk about everything oyster-related.
We dock at Käringeholmen, where we serve cooked mussels and freshly opened oysters, enjoyed right by the shoreline. After an unforgettable experience in a stunning setting, we take you back to the North Harbor in Lysekil, accompanied by the soothing rhythm of Signe.
TIME AND PLACE: Between March 1 and November 30, the tour runs on Fridays and Saturdays at 12:30 PM. The tour departs from the North Harbor in Lysekil and lasts approximately 3 hours. The meeting point is at Restaurant Publik.
PRICE: SEK 1750 per person
PAYMENT: Via Swish or invoice
The price includes lunch consisting of oysters and mussels cooked in wine and cream. Water, low-alcohol beer, and bread are served, as well as coffee and a cookie.
For groups of 6 people or more, we can offer tours on other days of the week by arrangement. Please contact us for more information.
CANCELLATION: Cancellations made later than 7 days before departure will be charged 50% of the cost. Cancellations made on the day of departure will be charged the full amount.
